“My son (15) and I loved this trip. The meeting place was clear and felt well organised. The guided tour of Pompeii really helped us understand the details and history. Lunch (not included) was an optional add on at a tourist restaurant- very reasonably priced. We then drove to Vesuvius. When we arrived at first the volcano was shut as it was a little windy but we waited and it opened up. You walk up without the guide at your own pace. I have RA so was a little worried I wouldn’t make it to the top but we did with plenty of time for photos. My son says going…”

“I'm rating it 5 stars although we couldn't do Vesuvius because it was closed due to pouring rain, logistics went into the dumpster because of the rain, our (Spanish) guide couldn't even arrive and they had to replace our guide, THAT BEING SAID, our guide Santiago was absolutely amazing, I dare say the best possible outcome was getting Santiago, we enjoyed very much our tour in the rain, sadly after the tour you'll want to spend 2 more weeks exploring the ruins with Santiago but we only had 2 hours.”

“The activity was amazing, wear proper shoes as it’s like walking up a sandy rocky dirt path. It does seem a little expensive as there is no travel up to the national park and EAV public buses are unreliable! Tickets for the bus can be purchased at Pompei scavi train station and the bus stop is directly opposite the exit. The walk up is breathtaking and good fun however for the money we paid it does seem a little overpriced. I don’t think you can get it much cheaper anywhere else though…”
